Boreal Bioproducts (Montinutra Oy) participates in WP1 “Production and characterization of building blocks” by developing wood-based, hydrophilic building blocks – hemicellulosic oligo- and polysaccharides. MONTI utilizes pressurized hot water extraction and fractionation to produce fractions that are suitable for further synthesis to surfactants.
